OPEN DAYS
All ostomates have a fantastic opportunity to attend an Open Day every year, which is being
organised by the popular Bristol Ostomates Self Support Group. All ostomates (not just members of B.O.S.S.), their families, friends and carers will be very welcome, and there is no entrance fee.
The event is regarded as very important in the calendar for ostomates, since many
different companies will be attending and exhibiting the latest in a range of appliance
and ostomy-

All ostomates, in the North Staffordshire, Cheshire and surrounding areas, have a great opportunity to attend an open day, which is being organised by the Outlook support group. This successful, annual event welcomes all colostomates, ileostomates, urostomates, friends, family and carers.
Members of the Bowel Care Team from the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and leading manufacturers will be present. This gives the chance to see the latest products and obtain samples.

There will be various exhibitions, including displays from the stoma care product manufacturers, home delivery companies, patient associations and charities. In addition, there will be general information on stoma care, and the stoma care nurses themselves will
be attending. Free teas and coffees will be available.

A very warm welcome will be extended to all ostomates, including clients, nursing and medical staff,
for a stoma care open day, which is being organised by the stoma care department of the Salisbury District Hospital. There will be an exhibition from product manufacturers. Specialist nurses will be in attendance, a raffle will be held, and refreshments will be available.
The Stoma Care Open Day will take place on Wednesday, 30th May 2012, at the Guildhall,
